By blending decades of craftsmanship with a modern visual system, Vassoplast’s refreshed identity communicates reliability and quality, giving the brand a clear, contemporary voice in the packaging industry.
Vassoplast, a long-established Italian manufacturer of thermoformed plastic trays, had a legacy brand that didn’t reflect its modern capabilities. While their technical expertise and craftsmanship were strong, the visual identity didn’t communicate their professionalism or contemporary ambitions, making it difficult to position themselves confidently for global clients in food and cosmetics.
I redesigned the brand’s visual identity with a clean, modern logo and a structured brand system that emphasizes precision and reliability. The new design combines minimalist typography and thoughtful color choices with visual cues inspired by the materiality and geometry of thermoformed plastic. This updated identity was then applied across collateral to create a consistent, professional presence. I did the project in collaboration with Spider Advertising.
The guiding concept is “Crafted Precision.” The design system reflects Vassoplast’s deep manufacturing heritage while signaling its forward-thinking, quality-driven future. By balancing elegance with function, the identity reinforces Vassoplast as a trustworthy partner for clients who need technically sophisticated plastic packaging solutions.
