Second product line, same trust, completely different creative territory.
Tören came back. After Whomp, they handed us another blank brief for a second product line under Mr. Bite, same client, same level of creative freedom, entirely different brief. Where Whomp was loud, punchy, and impact-driven, Pixel needed to feel modern, precise, and premium. Two products sitting in the same brand family, aimed at the same shelves, but with distinct identities that couldn't step on each other. That's the real design challenge here.

Mr. Bite needed a product that felt more refined and contemporary than the rest of its lineup, something that communicated premium quality and visual sophistication without losing the playfulness the brand is known for. The added complexity: the wafer itself has a genuinely layered flavour profile, cream, chocolate, caramel, wafer, and the packaging needed to express that depth without becoming visually cluttered.

Working in collaboration with Spider Advertising, I built a packaging system using pixel-inspired graphics that directly mirror the product's physical structure. Each pixel block references a layer, cream, chocolate, wafer, so the design isn't decorative, it's descriptive. Precise geometric shapes, a refined colour palette, and clean typography give Pixel a premium feel that sits confidently next to Whomp on shelf while feeling like an entirely different product personality. The system covers three flavour variants: milk hazelnut, dark chocolate hazelnut, and pistachio, each with its own colour identity within the unified pixel visual language.

The idea is a flavour as a mosaic. Just as individual pixels combine to form a complete image, each layer of the wafer builds toward a complete flavour experience. The pixel aesthetic does double work, it's contemporary and digital-feeling, which signals modernity and premium positioning, while also being literally accurate to the product's layered construction. The result is packaging where the concept and the product are the same thing, just expressed differently.
Pixel launched as part of the Mr. Bite product family and is currently live on shelves across Turkey, the second product line from this client to go from blank brief to retail in the same collaboration.
